- WHAT TO EXPECT IN WORSHIP -

Worship is a deeply rooted, biblically guided practice that seeks to glorify God and only God in all aspects. By adhering to the principles of Sola Scriptura, the sovereignty of God, and the necessity of grace, our worship aims to be Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated, and grace-filled. Through the faithful preaching of the Word, administration of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism, fervent prayer, and congregational singing, worshippers seek to honor and adore the God who has graciously revealed Himself in His Word.

In our Sunday worship gatherings we offer worship to God through prayers, giving tithes and offerings, speaking confessions and creeds, singing songs and psalters, sharing the Lord’s Supper and Baptism, and preaching the Word of God. We worship together, regardless of age, as one Body in Christ. The majority of our time spent in Sunday worship is hearing Pastor Eric exposit (or explain) the Scriptures. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly and speak ancient texts such as the Apostles and Nicene Creeds that summarize the foundations of our Christian faith.

We sing historic hymns of the faith and more modern worship songs as well as psalters, like the ancient church. Most churches would consider our worship style to be blended in nature, while firmly biblical.

Above all, our goal in worship is to direct our attention to and on God and God alone. We sing songs that articulate the greatness and truth about God, the cross, Jesus Christ and the gospel message. Instead of a focus to accommodate any one style of music or what's "popular", our goal is to sing songs and speak confessions that are biblical, meaningful, expressive, and doctrinally sound.
